About Explanationcollaboration Tree Service and How Referrals Work

Describe your tree job

What Explanationcollaboration Tree Service is

Explanationcollaboration Tree Service is a referral service. A homeowner describes a tree or stump problem. We pass that request to an independent local provider. The provider does the work, sets the price and signs the quote. We do none of those things.

Why this service exists

Tree work is high stakes and hard to judge from the curb. A trunk can look simple and still hang over a roof, a service line or a sump pump discharge. Most homeowners do not know what to ask, or who to ask.

So we built a short path. Describe the job. Talk to a provider. Get a quote in writing. The goal is a clean result that protects the house and its resale value.

How matching works

You share the basics: the size of the tree, where it stands, what is near it and whether storms have damaged it. We route the request to a provider in our network that serves Dayton and the Dayton area.

Many providers can respond quickly, but availability varies by season and by day. You can request a callback to check provider availability.

What we expect from providers

Providers in our network are independent businesses. We ask them to:

  • Carry liability insurance and workers' compensation where required
  • Hold any local license or permit their area requires
  • Put the scope, price and cleanup terms in a written quote
  • Explain how they will protect the roof, lawn, fences and utilities
  • Arrive and work as the quote describes

What we do not do

We do not cut trees, grind stumps or supervise jobs on site. We do not set prices. We do not promise a start time or a final cost.

We also do not decide insurance outcomes. Some policies may cover sudden damage, so check your policy. Providers can often help document damage for a claim.

How costs work

Prices vary with tree height, access, nearby structures and condition. As a rough U.S. guide, a small tree may run a few hundred dollars. A large or hazardous tree can run well past a thousand. Stump grinding often falls in the low hundreds, and more for big or multiple stumps.

These are typical ranges only. The written quote from the provider is the final word.

How we are paid

Providers in our network pay a referral fee when we connect them with a homeowner. We do not charge homeowners for the connection. You pay the provider only what your written quote states.

Get connected

If a tree is leaning, damaged or simply in the wrong place, start with the details. A provider can tell you what the job involves and what it should cost. Plan the drop. Protect the property.
